I made a bit of an impulsive purchase the other day and thought it was just too good not to share :)
I picked up Dior's Dior Addict Gloss in 363 Dormeuse and it's quickly becoming a new favorite of mine...

For the Love of Coral: YSL's #14 Corail in Touch

Ohhh my.
That's all there is to say about YSL's Corail in Touch.  Making it's debut in the Rouge Volupte Shine lipstick range this lipstick is the coral of all corals.

Standing out as a vibrant orange coral it seems as if it would be too daring a color to wear everyday.
But you're wrong, so so wrong.

Summer Ready with bareMinerals Bronze Splendor

Summer is fast approaching and while everyone is working on deepening their natural tans I'm working on perfecting my fake one.  Yes I am a professed fake tan addict and I feel no shame, mainly due to the fact that my skin has two colors: Ghostly and Red.  I don't tan I burn and after I burn I go back to being pale, it's a cruel process really.

The only thing better than having a great tan is having the natural glow it gives your skin, but if you're tan comes in a bottle with a pump it's a little harder to get...

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural

I know I'm probably the last person to jump on the MSFN bandwagon but I had a good reason: I absolutely hate powder foundation.  I can't stand a powder-y look on my face and they only seem to last about 10 minutes on my skin.  But on a whim I tried out my friend's MSFN and could not believe how well it worked, it gave amazing coverage and had a beautiful natural finish to it.

I've always been a liquid foundation kind of girl but lately I've found myself wanting something lighter and quicker to put on so I finally went out and picked up the MSFN in Light Plus.  This has become my go to every day foundation and I couldn't be happier with it!  I apply it with my Benefit Bronzing Brush and a light dusting over my face (with a little concealer applied beforehand) gives me the perfect amount of light coverage that lasts for hours and best of all it doesn't look like powder on my skin! :)

I can't believe it's taken me this long to pick up this product--but now that I've tried it it's something I'll be repurchasing over and over.

What's your take on this powder?  Love it or Leave it?

Apothica.com Haul

I put in my first order at Apothica.com and picked up a few things that I've been dying to try for a while now.  Apothica has a wide variety of brands and products to choose from so it was the perfect place to pick these up!

First up is the Caudalie Beauty Elixir.  This arrived last week but it shipped separately from the lip glosses (which came in today since yesterday was a holiday) so I've had time to use this product before doing this post.  This product has been subject to a lot of hype on the bloggersphere and for good reason; after about a week of using this I can already see a difference in my skin.  My skin is brighter and has a natural glow-iness to it that it was lacking before.

The scent of this product I think is going to be pretty much hit or miss with people.  It has a minty scent to it mixed with a stronger herbal scent.

Some of the ingredients in it listed are: grape, orange blossom, rose, organic balm mint, and rosemary.

Personally I really like the scent and enjoy using this product every day/night.  The only downside?  It starts to go quickly:(  I use about 2-4 sprays each time I use it and I've noticed that it starts to go much quicker than I'd like it to.  But I do love this product and the results I'm seeing!

Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector Lip Gloss:

These are possibly the most talked about lip glosses at the moment and I have been wanting to try them for months so I was so excited to see them at my door today!  They are just as gorgeous as every one says--they offer a beautiful natural color to the lips that you can build up to be more opaque (the swatches below are a little heavier swatches).  There's no shimmer in these glosses but there are light reflective particles (which is not code for shimmer, I promise) that look completely natural on the lips but you can see them in the pictures below.

The two colors I picked up were 01 Rose Shimmer and 02 Apricot Shimmer.  I'm in love with both of these colors but I think I prefer the rose color a little more.  Also worth mentioning is their smooth, non-sticky consistency and the fact that these smell incredible.  They have a sweet almost dessert like smell to them...or if you remember the Bonne Bell lip gloss (90s kid anyone?) in Cotton Candy, these smell a lot like that--yes I still remember that lip gloss, it was one of the first make up items I had. :)  But all in all they are some of the best lip glosses I have ever tried.  I'll definitely be picking up the nude color when I make my next Apothica purchase!

Disclaimer:  The Caudalie Beauty Elixir was purchased with a gift card given to me by the company but in no way affects my opinion.  All reviews are 100% honest and my own.
