Last week I picked up some new hair care items and decided to do a review on them! Since Suave released their new Keratin line I've been really wanting to try it out. Since the humidity has been crazy this summer I picked up the shampoo, conditioner, and leave in conditioner for their range of frizzy hair. While the shampoo and conditioner are great products the real standout is the leave in conditioner. I can not get over how soft and smooth my hair is after using this and it also has heat defense in it which is great since I'm terrible about remembering to use a heat protectant!
I've been using Dove shampoo and conditioner for awhile now and while I'm enjoying using the new Suave line I think I might go back to dove, but I'll definitely be repurchasing the leave in conditioner!
While picking up the new Suave line I saw this detangling spray with nutri-oils from Dove. I'm a huge fan of anything from Dove and because my hair is so thick and tangles so easily I'm a sucker for any kind of detangling spray.
This spray is from their Nourishing Oil Care line and you need to shake it up before you use it (you can see in the picture where the oil is separated from the rest of the product). My first impression of this when trying it out was that it smells amazing but it isn't over powering and most importantly, it actually works. I tried this separate from the Suave line just to be sure the results were solely from this spray. The oils leave my hair feeling soft and it helps to reduce the tangles in my hair, all in all it's a winner in my book and a product I'll be repurchasing.

I like the dove detangler too. I was afraid to use it at first because my hair is fine, but it works great. Have a good week!
ReplyDeleteI am in LOVE with the "Miracle 7" line! I needed a product that would keep my hair from being frizzy and that would help with colored hair. This product is amazing...AND it protects my hair from the straight iron better that ION products! Love the blog!

ahh I'll definitely have to try these products! right now I'm using the john freida go blonder series since the sun is still out, but I'm definitely going to try these out when fall and winter come!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to try that Dove detangler. I have a lot of hair but it's fairly fine, so it can get pretty tangled, and I go through detanglers like they are water.

I've been using and loving dove shampoo and conditioner too. I bought the dove detangler but in a smaller bottle. I loved it, I hope it came in a big bottle like this too :) Great review!

I'm loving the Dove Daily Moisture shampoo & conditioner. They've made my hair feel so much healthier in the past two or so months I've been using them! I just picked up the Suave keratin serum. So far, it's nice but I haven't used it long enough to really tell if its a new favorite yet. I just found your blog via amarixe & i really love it! New follower : )
